Shakira prepares for a series of concerts in El Salvador that, in addition to selling out tickets in record time, will leave an estimated economic impact of $25 million.

Just days before the start of her concert series in El Salvador, Shakira continues to set historical records in the region's music and economic industries. Her residency in San Salvador, with five dates scheduled for February 7, 8, 12, 14, and 15, 2026, will leave an estimated economic impact of $25 million.

More than 82,000 people are expected to attend, with 12% of the audience being international, which will boost tourism, commerce, and hotel occupancy in the Salvadoran capital, in addition to generating thousands of direct and indirect jobs.

International demand sold out tickets in less than 24 hours, according to local media, reflecting the artist's global reach. This phenomenon adds to the achievements of the "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour," which has already surpassed $327 million in revenue during its first 64 concerts and is projected to exceed $400 million by the end of the tour.

More than 2.5 million tickets sold and sold-out venues in Latin America, the United States, and Europe confirm Shakira's leadership in the global market.

Historical records and global reach: the impact of the "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour"

In Mexico, the series of 12 consecutive concerts at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City brought together nearly 780,000 attendees. In Monterrey and Guadalajara, the arrival of the tour generated a 66% increase in hotel occupancy and millions of dollars in revenue for sectors such as hospitality, gastronomy, and transportation. In Barranquilla, the economic activity exceeded 66.8 billion pesos, strengthening tourism and local commerce.

In the United States, Shakira's tour grossed nearly $250 million, placing it among the 30 most successful tours of the decade. The tour triggered increases of up to 200% in hotel demand and a 38% growth in revenue for Airbnb hosts in key cities. Pollstar and Billboard ranked the tour among the five most lucrative in the world in 2025 and named Shakira the highest-grossing Latina female artist of all time.

Tour Packages and All-Inclusive Trips: Central America Mobilizes for Shakira's Residency in El Salvador

The residency model in El Salvador amplifies the regional impact with tour packages, international transportation, and an unprecedented integration of the Central American audience, confirming Shakira's continued relevance and drawing power on the global stage.

Various travel agencies and tour operators from countries such as Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama have launched all-inclusive package deals that include ground or air transportation, accommodation, and concert tickets, facilitating the arrival of thousands of fans in San Salvador.

El Salvador thus becomes the epicenter of regional entertainment, with a strategy that mobilizes tourist flows from across the entire isthmus. These packages aim to capitalize on the high demand and exclusivity of the five dates, as they will be Shakira's only performances in Central America.
